Looking at Africa, and some places in the world, it’s facing a cruel dilemma, not knowing what to do with its broken educational system in most rural and urban areas. Sustainable Youth Education Empowerment Program has found kids and youths in the streets selling while they are supposed to be in school. Based on our survey conducted in Liberia, West Africa, a similar situation is across Africa and the world in the education system. In Liberia, West Africa, decades after the war, the educational system remains in chaos where kids or youths are out of school due to a lack of school fees and other costs that their parents cannot afford to pay for their schooling.
This program is now operating in three counties in Liberia, West Africa. From 2019 to 2021 we have helped sponsor 80 At-Risk youths in schools; in Bong, Lofa, and Nimba County. The program management team is planning to reach more kids across Africa to meet her goal by:
• Developing future leaders
• Youths Capacity building
• Enhancing the quality of education
• Creating a Healthy environment
• Creating awareness of Sexual and Gender-Based violence
Africa faces a cruel dilemma, not knowing what to do with her broken educational system in most rural and urban areas. Sustainable Youth Education Empowerment Program has found students in the streets selling while they supposed to be in school. Based on our survey conducted in Liberia, West Africa, a similar situation is across Africa in the education system. In Liberia, West Africa, decades after the war, the educational system remains in chaos where kids are left out of school due to lack of school fees and another cost that their parents cannot afford to pay for schooling and some of the parents died during the Ebola outbreak in 2014 that left some them parentless in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Guinea.
Based on this background, the Sustainable Youth Education Empowerment Program's primary goal is to provide sponsorship for less fortunate kids to have Quality Education through donations and sponsorship from humanitarians organization or individual. This will help the future generation and will also alleviate the un-educational conditions among the youths.
We highly promote girls' education and also creates awareness of sexual-based violent against a female in the country.
Agriculture is the primary livelihood source for more than 75 percent of the African population and provides sustenance for many households who engage in farming of rice, oil palm, cocoa, Vegetable, and Cassava. However, low agricultural productivity results in Liberia importing more than 80 percent of its staple food, making the country vulnerable to global food price volatility.
Poorly integrated, the sector lacks necessary infrastructure such as machines, farming equipment/tools, farm-to-market roads, fertilizers and pesticides, and food storage capacity. Cassava and rice are the primary staple food crops.
Based on these issues Sustainable Youth Education Empowerment Agriculture sector wants to bolster the food security aspect of producing locally to feed students at school to enhance quality learning appetize. The organization Rice production project is in Zorzor District, Lofa, Liberia, West Africa.
The Sustainable Youth Education Empowerment Program (SYEEP) offers a Computer Vocational Training program that utilizes donated laptops to provide essential technology skills to at-risk youth.
